Naval Combat System
FFX Batch-III Combat System
(Future Frigate eXperimental Batch-III)
As the central nerve system of naval vessels, naval combat system detects and analyzes targets by using on-board sensors such as radar or EOTS, etc., and give engagement commands to on-board weapons systems like naval guns, in order to provide the optimum assault and defense means for naval warfare(anti-ship or anti-submarine) on a real time basis.
As Korea’s only Naval Combat System specialist company, we have the world’s top class combat system technology.
Our naval combat systems’ performances are continuously evolving and improving. Also, since the concept of Baseline was introduced, it has now become
possible to compare the performances of each ship’s combat systems against the others’.
Baseline refers to the baseline of naval combat systems, whose role can be compared to OS(Operating System) of PC Windows.
- I-Mast(Integrated Sensor Mast)
-
The first locally developed I-Mast was based on Baseline 1.0. In 2016, the development for FFX-Batch-III I Mast began based on Baseline 3.0 Version.
Baseline 3.0 Version will integrate and share processors thru virtualization technology; integrate computing resources by using high performance computing; and apply Integrated Sensor Mast that combines MFR with IRST.
Evolution and Quantum Jump of FFX Batch-III Combat System
Built upon the strengths of Batch-I/II Combat Systems, FFX Batch-III Combat System will
make a quantum jump to be the cutting-edge technology-based combat system for the
future.
