FFX (Future Frigate eXperimental) Batch-III Combat System

As the brain of naval vessels, the combat system detects and analyzes targets in real time using I-MAST sensors, including the four-faced fixed multi-function phased array radar and electro-optical tracking systems (EOTS). It then gives engagement commands to onboard weapon systems—such as naval guns—to deliver optimal offensive and defensive solutions for naval warfare, including anti-ship and anti-submarine operations.

Hanwha Systems has successfully developed Korea’s first I-Mast and integrated it into the FFX Batch-III.
This advanced mast combines a four-faced fixed multi-function phased array radar with an IRST into a single platform. Designed with a low radar cross-section (RCS), it enhances stealth performance and maximizes the survivability of naval vessels.

FFX Batch-III Combat System is

an integrated combat solution that integrates sensors and weapon systems on a network basis to effectively share battlefield situations, quickly processes information through Interface analysis and communication functions, and precisely controls weapons such as naval guns and guided missiles.
